The Yurt, the Stream, and the Palms
5/5 We loved this place. The setting couldn't have been more beautiful, the home was very clean and spacious for a small space. The hosts are interesting people and we regretted not having more time to talk with them, but we stayed on a busy schedule. Which made it wonderful and relaxing to get "home" to the yurt. We could hear the stream and it was terrific to be able to live and sleep with the windows open to nature and the views. Would definitely stay again.

We were initially concerned about not having AC, but it gets quite cool at night and we had no problems, the fan was enough to keep us cool at night. It is close enough to drive into downtown Hilo or make day trips to other areas, but the drive to the unit can be a little difficult late at night in the dark. Overall the property is beautiful and was very relaxing.
