This was one of the worst rentals we ever stayed at. Some parts of it were just grungy but all of it needed a good cleaning and replacement of bug screens. We chose not to contact the host about this as we were only staying for a few nights and spent all our time sightseeing. The A/C mainly created noise without getting the inside of the house to a comfortable temperature. Would certainly never stay there again

We arrived to the property and couldn’t stay. The house was not as expected. The house was stifling hot with only window AC units in two of the rooms and they didn’t even blowing cold air. There was little to no air flow in the house and very few windows could be opened. The house was filthy, food in the cupboards, countertops were falling apart, dirty floors, stove, and dead bugs everywhere. We left immediately and filed a claim, to which they denied. This entire experience was a nightmare. I hope this review will save someone the trouble and money spent to this terrible company. I will never rent from them again.

Hi Bev, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The AC unit was inspected after your departure and is fully functional. We wish you had worked with the Guest Contact when you arrived. We would've been happy to help you troubleshoot so that you could have stayed and enjoyed the home.
- We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We wish you had worked with the Guest Contact when you arrived if there were any issues you needed addressing. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could have stayed and enjoyed the home.
- We always work with guests when issues arise and apologize that we were unable to come to the resolution you were hoping for based on the documentation provided.
- We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
It was a wonderful house and we really did enjoy our stay. But the floors were still pretty dirty, you could actually see some dust bunnies around the corners and edges and we had a 1 year old crawling around. The freezer had grass in it and there were food crumbs on the shelves in the fridge. We really did enjoy our stay though, thank you!

We liked the location as it was walkable to some decent restaurants and a market. The place is an older, fairly spacious home with some designer upgrades here and there to make it comfortable. Appliances are older with some wear and tear, but mostly functional. Beds were very comfy and my wife loved the pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc. for any cooking needs, but we didn't really make meals during our stay. There were a couple cleanliness issues which I have communicated with the property contact and I'm hoping was just a one time thing. Overall, I'd use the words "adequate", "sufficient" or "satisfactory". Not a lot of "wow" factor, but it is a cute home and it worked out great for us.
