  Cabin was nice. The grounds need cleaned up so you can sit outside. Many cobwebs inside hanging from light fixtures. No outside grill. Easy checkin with code on door. Property manager very nice. The garbage situation, as noted in many other reviews is awful. You have to take your garbage with you. It was a holiday when we checked out so the local trash locations were all closed. We had to drive back to Florida with 2 bags of garbage!! Rediculous. Pay the cleaning crew to take it and charge a few more dollars.

  From the Owner: "Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Moose Mark Cabin.
  There is now an option for guests to call the property manager and have their trash removed for an extra fee, with a three-bag maximum. As far as your assessment of the grounds, the cabin, being embedded in the woods, has made using an outdoor grill a liability. You may have seen it in the original photos, but it has since been removed until a proper site can be determined. It was never included in the listing as it did not work properly. Also, the natural flora and trees that surround the cabin are there by design. The patio area is blown off before guests arrive. I apologize that Mother Nature didn't provide a suitable seating area for you. Hopefully, the enclosed screen porch and front porch ambience made up for that. Cobwebs are addressed before a guest's stay, though they can quickly return. Your feedback offers us the opportunity to improve the experience of this rustic cabin in the woods."

  Awesome! Joy and I have stayed in properties all over the US and Europe. We are AirBnB hosts. Moosemark Cabin is all around the best place we have ever rented. From the location to the furnishings to the thoughtfulness of supplies, Moosemark Cabin is the best! The professional staff helped us delay an earlier reservation due to illness and hurricanes and reschedule. We will be back!

• Cozy Cabin Christmas Weekend

  As a 37-year veteran of the hotel industry and a host of three Airbnb rentals in Atlanta I can attest that this stay was truly spectacular! MooseMark Cabin was the ideal place for our three-day weekend escape to the N. GA mountains to celebrate an early Christmas with friends and create lifelong memories. The 1 BR/2 BA description seems unfair since there are actually three bedrooms if you count the upstairs loft bed/bath and the downstairs private office room with a day bed, so we could easily see how it can comfortably sleep five. This clean adorable cabin is decorated with such fun eclectic taste and attention to whimsical detail and is so comfortable and rustic yet home-like! We loved the spacious living room to relax and play games and visit and both indoor and outdoor dining areas and kitchen that was supplied with everything you need if you want to stay in and cook a meal. And we enjoyed being so close to everything that we wanted to do and see. Grocery stores and farm stands were abundant as well as antique stores, wineries, restaurants, clothing stores and we had a ball watching the annual Downtown Clayton Christmas Parade and then dining at a wonderful restaurant on the main street afterwards. And lastly, the spectacular mountain views from the porch as we drank our coffee on the morning of our departure made us absolutely certain we'll be booking this gem of a vacation spot again in the very near future!

• Moosemark for the win!

  We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Moosemark. It amazed us how thoughtful the host was in providing everything you could imagine in making our visit so comfortable. All you needed to do was pick up some groceries. Everything else was waiting for you.

  The bedding was wonderful, plenty of towels, blankets, comforters and relaxing seating including rockers on the front porch and a table and chairs in the screened in porch.

  The decorating in this cabin is whimsical and beyond charming. The owner has gone to great lengths in using their creative talents. And for the modern touches there is wi-fi, AC, cozy heat, and a modern kitchen where everything works.

  It's quiet and the views are beautiful. The cabin is close to shopping and sightseeing in the northern Georgia mountains. The nearby town of Clayton has all the boutique and dining anyone could desire.

  Thank you for building this gem and letting us visit.

• Charming storybook cabin

  Moosemark is located in the idyllic North Georgia mountains. Private and secluded but five minutes from downtown Clayton. Perfect for families or for a girl’s weekend, the cabin has every amenity needed. You could easily relax all day at the cabin as every corner is a treasure trove of entertainment. Otherwise you can visit the nearby wineries, hike trails to the beautiful waterfalls, or shop Clayton Main Street. We had a wonderful time playing games at the cabin side porch and enjoying coffee on the picturesque front porch. Clayton is full of small, delicious eateries and we especially enjoyed The Rusty Bike.
