  The property was adequate but not great. The description said "The property requires stairs for full interior and deck access and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility" It should have stated that the main living area is located on the second floor. We had elderly parents and the bottom floor room was much too cold without turning the upstairs heat up to 90, so we had to bring them up and down the stairs. Luckily we were only there for a short stay. Our stay was in November and the weather was not overly chilly - but the bottom floor was at least 10-15 degrees colder than the upstairs. There were no extra blankets. The ceiling fans were dusty but the rest of the house was fairly clean. The towels were limited and we did not notice the statement in the welcome "book" that was emailed that stated there were no washcloths. This is the first time we have experienced that. The deck was soft, sagging, and had loose boards. The yard/pool area were nice and private. The driveway was a bit precarious. We did see deer passing through one morning. The linens were clean and the beds were fairly comfortable.

  -To ensure our guests feel comfortable during their stay, we provide an extra electric heater on the first floor as well as an additional blanket, thoughtfully stored in the large container in the closet for easy access.

• Exceptional experience

  Six of us “ladies” just returned home from a wonderful stay at this property. The house was large and had everything we needed for a much needed summer getaway! We were extremely impressed with the pool. The pool was large, clean and perfect for these old ladies to relax and play in. Ronnie was so helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had. We’ll definitely book this property again!

• Pool not working

  Not a good stay. First arrived pool was not working. No WiFi or tv not even able to hook up to any media on TVs. Coffee pot terrible. Towels need upgrading and entire house was decorated in Christmas stuff and it was Memorial Day weekend 2025 when I went. I have sent an email regarding all these items and so far they have refunded me 300 for pool not work. Place was very expensive and Ubers had a difficult time finding the house.

  From the owner: We are sorry you had an issue during your stay. We are so sorry about the inconvenience regarding the pool. Your check-in date was the beginning of the season for the pool. We just reopened the pool, and we had some issues with the pool pump. The pool technician was not available due to the holiday and the long weekend. We offered a full refund before you checked in if you would like to cancel, and a partial refund for the second option, to compensate for the pool not working. You chose the second option, and we thought you were happy with that.
  
  Our family is Christmas enthusiasts and really like the Christmas ornaments and decorations. We will take your concerns into account and will adjust accordingly. Thank you for your input.
