This property has a lot of potential, but the cleanliness, disorganization, and lack of attention to detail made for a shortened stay. The hosts tried to fix things, but there was simply too much that needed attention. An overgrown cactus when approaching the entry grazed and injured a guest’s shoulder, old and decaying/moldy food, an overall kitchen odor, mismatched dinnerware, greasy cooking utensils, stained bedding/couches, general uncleanliness, little toilet paper, no dishwashing detergent and a missing remote for the living room television all made for a very uncomfortable stay. The house has potential and the hosts tried, but it was too much to fully explain and fix to achieve a comfortable stay. We would not stay here again.

Hi Sabrina, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We were out of town during your stay, but did our best to respond quickly and remotely, including sending new cookware and dinnerware the same day.
- We've replaced the only one that had a small stain and the towels throughout the home to ensure a more refreshed guest experience.
The cleaning service used at the time has been addressed directly, and the team completed the next cleaning at no charge to make things right.
- A partial refund was issued, and an early checkout was accommodated without penalty.
- Extra toilet paper was available in the closet, though it sounds like it may not have been visible, something they’ll now make more obvious for future guests.
- While some concerns, like stained furniture, were not previously reported, they are reviewing everything to ensure a more consistent and detailed cleaning process moving forward.
