A disappointment
2/5 Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable! 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are wonderful when gathering an adult family!
In several ways the house was not ready for our arrival: the alarm went off upon arrival, it was 84 degrees in the house, the downstairs needed sweeping, the kitchen was not equipped for 8 guests nor for use to really cook in, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, there weren’t enough bath towels, no toilet paper nor paper towels, there were light switch covers missing, which is a safety hazard.
While the guest contact, who is the owner,
responded and provided the towels and paper products, his attitude was defensive as we stated our displeasure with the condition of the house. We made it work because there was no where for 8 adults to go.

-We're sorry that the house was not at a comfortable temperature when you arrived and that the alarm went off unexpectedly. We are reviewing our pre-arrival procedures to ensure that the house is properly cooled and the alarm system is deactivated before guests enter.
-We regret that the downstairs area needed additional sweeping and that the kitchen was not fully equipped for your group. We have spoken with our cleaning team to reinforce our standards, and we are in the process of updating the kitchen inventory to ensure it meets the needs of larger groups.
-While we're glad we were able to provide the necessary towels and paper products during your stay, we apologize if our response came off as defensive. We take all feedback seriously, and we are committed to improving our communication. Additionally, we are addressing the missing light switch covers to ensure safety for all our guests.
