  The property is nice, the home was personalized with a few graduation decorations and a welcome sign. No issues with cleanliness other than some dog poo left behind in the gated area. We were allowed to check in at 1pm instead of 4pm and the host always responded promptly. The negative aspects of the stay are as follows;1. It reeked of marijuana. Not just the day we got there but also the day left. I’m fairly open minded but I was there with my in laws and children. 2. The owners patio umbrella blew over (because of wind) the first day and a claim was filed on us to replace it. I paid for the renters insurance thankfully and suggest you do the same. 3. When I asked her to come hang the umbrella back up, she told me a neighbor was coming and no one ever came. We left with it still on the ground.

• 10 miles to GSU and water park

  This house is spacious and in a nice quiet neighborhood about 10 miles from GSU. We shared it with another family and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house could use a few updates but had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive to our questions/concerns, however, they are technically staying in the same house, just on the other side of a door. I thought the comments about being “on property” meant they were in a separate house nearby but no, they were in the house with doors facing the pool. The house is a little dated but the AC worked well. I also noticed a slight musty/smoke smell on occasion.

  From the owner: "We certainly appreciate your feedback.
  We do encourage you to review photos prior to booking to make sure it's what you want.
  We do have an attached suite. Our suite has a separate entrance which prevents any contact with guests.
  We share nothing. We have our own kitchen, bathroom, office, living area, and sleep area.
  We are not a part of your living quarters and you have the luxury of your own split wing that does close off from the rest of the common areas or our wing.
  The windows that face the pool have now been blacked out. The windows are not in the living space of our wing but do face the pool.
  The smoke smell comes from the wood-burning fireplace. This is why it's only smelled in the area of the fireplace.
  We also have a firepit outside and if you don't keep windows closed it may smell.
  We do appreciate this review and we appreciate you."
