1/5 We booked months in advance and traveled from Texas to visit family for the 4th of July. When we arrived at the property the keyless entry did not work. We contacted the management company who contacted the owner and the owner said that he was on vacation and couldn’t deal with this issue. He told the management company to refund our money and send us packing!! We had no place to stay!! Not just unprofessional but totally heartless!! Would give ZERO stars if I could!!

Hi Becca, We’re so sorry to hear how stressful your arrival was, especially after such a long trip. We understand how upsetting this must have been and followed up right away with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following details:
-The keyless entry system had a rare mechanical failure, despite working perfectly for a prior guest just two days earlier.
- We immediately provided an override code and stayed in communication with Evolve to try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, even with these efforts, the lock could not be fixed without a locksmith.
- The locksmith was not available until the following day, and rather than have you wait overnight, we requested a full refund on the spot so you could secure alternate accommodations.
- We regret not being able to host you and want to clarify that we were not on vacation but were working remotely and unable to assist in person.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.Beautiful home
