Rental being sold, updates needed
3/5 Pros - safe neighborhood, roomy, clean upon arrival. Nice touches like dish soap, hand soap, paper towels. Multiple appliances like air fryer, Kuerig
Cons - signs facing house no vacation rentals. Experience started with real estate agent showing property after check in. We were asked to wait till showing done. Minimal cooking utensils. Microwave not working. Third bedroom full bed not queen.
Deal breakers:
1. Couch incredibly uncomfortable needs replacing. Bottom cushions thin feel drop when sitting, no support.
2. Linens scratchy and need replacing
3. Interrupted on Thanksgiving after 9:00pm. No call from POC. No peephole to see who’s knocking. Person in pajamas knock on door said was mgmt. Wanted remote for second unit. We gave remote.
Came back 20 minutes later. Wanted to come in to do internet repair. We refused bc it was uncomfortable and second unit had loudly been listening to TV (streaming) all day.
3/5 The place seemed a little dirty, it could probably use a good cleaning. Also the batteries were dead in the smoke detector so it was beeping the whole time

2/5 The property was not cleaned upon arrival. No linens on beds or towels. When reaching out to property manager, accommodations were made to stay downstairs while upstairs unit was cleaned and stocked. Apparently the check in instructions were sent from evolve so reached out to corporate number to receive check in instructions. Received code for first door, then had to call back to get door code for second door. There are several signs in the neighborhood that state “No vacation rental in our neighborhood” including the neighbor. The ac did not work.

Ok for the price.
4/5 A handyman's dream. The place was clean but found the kitchen could have been better stocked. Many little things in need of repair, but when the property is up for sale, I guess the owner would not be interested in fixing it. It's advertised with 2 queen beds, but actually has 1 queen and 1 full. I have been at many other VRBOs that were much nicer. Nice neighborhood, but did not feel welcome with all the signs that stated "no vacation rentals in our neighborhood"
