• Allergic to Cabin

  I don’t know if it was the dust on the bathroom walls, the dust on the ceiling fan upstairs bedroom, the dust in every corner of the cabin, or the dust dirt and debris under the bottom sheet of the bed. Either way, I had a major allergic reaction to the cabin, and I was miserable all trip. Watery and itchy eyes, sneezing, and coughing. I know it was allergies because I feel great now that I’m home in my own bed. Not very happy. I won’t be renting another cabin ever again.

  We work with a highly reputable and consistent cleaning professional who has served us reliably for over two years, and we regularly receive positive remarks about the cleanliness of our properties. While it’s possible that some areas, like the ceiling fan, might have been overlooked, we find it highly unlikely that the property would have had the level of dust and debris described. The home is thoroughly cleaned between each booking, including professional laundering services for all linens.
  
  Following your stay, I personally visited the cabin to complete a maintenance task and took the opportunity to inspect the property. I did not observe the issues described, but that doesn’t mean your concerns are invalid. If something was missed, we truly apologize and will address it with our cleaning team.
  
  We always encourage guests to notify us during their stay if anything is amiss. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the issue immediately, whether through additional cleaning or other measures. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of your concerns until reading your review.

  Clean and a nice scenic property. Only thing I wish the property had was a washing machine, but that's completely fine for a shorter stay in the area with all the hiking spots and Helen just a short drive away.

• Clean. Comfortable. Cozy. Stairs Could Be An Issue.

  We found the cabin to be clean, comfortable, cozy and well-stocked. Incredible swing on the porch for relaxing at the cabin, which is surrounded by peaceful trees. Only drawback is the bed (which was very comfortable) is in a loft and on a different floor than the only bathroom. Perfect for young couples. Not so much for older folks or if you want privacy from anyone else in your party. Do NOT follow GPS if it takes you onto Bean Creek Rd.!!

  Cabin was very clean and close to several outdoor attractions and it 10 mins from downtown Helen. We had very pleasant stay. Cabin was well stocked with basic necessities. The GPS directions are a little off but the sign is large enough to find it.
