  The house was perfect! It was better in person than in the pictures. When we arrived, it was clean and we were excited to see a family of deer, a wild turkey and a few bats on the first evening. It was a wonderful location and view for our family. We had a fantastic time and are already talking about coming back!

• Nice space for family, but not clean enough.

  We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, but were disappointed in a few things.

  The CONS:

  - When we arrived, the cabin was not very clean. We had to wipe down all the counters and vacuum the entire place. Emptied the vacuum canister before we started and it was completely full by the time we were done. I reached out to the cabin contact person and they blamed it on some work that had to be done before we arrived. There was sawdust where a handrail had obviously been replaced, but the amount of dirt and dust in that vacuum was definitely NOT the result of workers in the space. It was because the basement carpet had not been vacuumed in quite some time. There were also sticky spots on the kitchen floor, so that hadn't been mopped either. The oven was also filthy, with chunks of burnt food still stuck on the grates.

  - We were also disappointed that the cabin hadn't been stocked with enough toilet paper or paper towels for a family of 4 staying a full week.

  - Water pressure was terrible. At one point, my son had to pause his shower and wait for his brother to finish downstairs before he could continue. The second shower literally wouldn't even turn on until the first turned off.

  - The largest TV in the cabin (basement) is not a smart TV. While we were able to access some apps, we could not log in to our streaming services on that TV. Wish the listing would have recommended bringing our own DVDs or chromecast. Disappointed that we couldn't have movie nights on the big s

  - Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at our cabin. We take guest satisfaction very seriously, and I'm sorry to hear about the disappointments you experienced.
  Regarding the cleanliness concerns, we have very high standards and work with a cleaning team to professionally clean the home before each guest's stay. To ensure our high standards are continuously being met, our cleaning team provides me with photos after each cleaning. We assure you that the home passed its pre-stay inspection in preparation of your stay. We assure you, that every corner of the cabin had been meticulously cleaned, including under furniture and rugs. While vacuuming may have resulted in some lint from the carpet, the cabin was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival.
  - As for the oven, while it's not brand new, there were no traces of burnt food on the racks during our inspection.
  - Regarding the water pressure, as the cabin is located in a wooded area with a shared well, simultaneous use of water appliances can affect the pressure. To address this, we will ensure that a note is provided to future guests, reminding them to stagger their showers to maximize water pressure.
  - As is standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide guests with a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels as a courtesy, but guests are required to purchase any additional for their needs.
  - In terms of entertainment, while the basement TV is not a smart TV, we offer a DVD player and a library of about 50 DVDs for movie nights. Additionally, the main TV in the family room upstairs is a smart TV with access to streaming services.
  - Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to improve the guest experience for future stays. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide you with a more enjoyable stay.

• Restful week

  Have had a lot of things/stress lately. Needed a porch with a view. Found one at this cabin! There was a wrap-a-round porch, and a private porch off the master bedroom. It was quiet with lots of trees and mountains. Just what I needed!

• Beautiful and fun!

  The house is a beautiful cabin. It makes you feel like home. The basement turned into a game room is so fantastic to all ages! mrs. Pac-Man machine on the wall was such a throwback surprise! We loved every moment of this cabin, and plan on renting it again! Do you take the time to have coffee or tea on the deck and watch the sunrise! Five stars!!
