Relaxing stay
5/5 Loved my stay at the Billy Goat cabin !! There is a bit of history with this little cabin, and from what I could see from the gravel road to it, there were other time period structures around as well ! Would love to know more !
The cabin has all basic needs for a comfortable stay. The bed is top notch! Slept soundly! It has two a/c window units and two ceiling fans to keep it nice and cool. It was extremely private, too ! And other than the few trucks on the main road in the distance, it was very quiet !
Main feature is the spectacular view !! Along the bluff edge there is a short trail , but be very careful ! If you're brave enough, you might could ease down a section and explore the woods below. There are even a few blackberry bushes along the top !!
It's within 15- 20 minutes to Desoto Fall/ Mentone, and same to Menlo/ Summerville, Ga.
Would definitely love to stay again !!
