Beautiful, Big Home - Great Location!
5/5 Great stay at this historic home for our large group! We used every square inch of the home - beautiful front porch & huge back porch (elevated and screened in). Coffee on the front porch in the morning was perfect! Floor to ceiling windows in every room with gorgeous billowing curtains. The huge wooden table in dining room was ideal for gathering. Couches & chairs comfortable in the family room. Beautiful artwork throughout home. Bedrooms are spacious & provide privacy for each couple/family. Beds were big and comfortable. The 2nd floor music room is so cool & you could sleep a kid or a teenager in that room if you needed to - bed is not the best, but it works if you need an extra room. Location of home is ideal - walkable into downtown Macon & perched up high near the law school. Very safe area in a neighborhood filled with cool historic homes. Parking in back is a little tricky to find but provides secure, extra parking spaces in the garage and immediately outside the garage. The kitchen definitely needs more pots, pans, knives and cooking items - but I plan on advising Evolve of this needed improvement. I bet Evolve will add to the kitchen. With those small upgrades, it would put the house over the top. If you are traveling into Macon by car, just bring some extra cooking stuff with you if you plan on cooking at the house. We loved our stay and plan on coming back soon! We loved the music vibe of the home and it was a pleasure to stay there!
