5/5 Leah the owner of Tame Turkey reached out to us 11/8/2025 letting us know if there was anything we needed to let her know. Overall, the stay was comfortable, and the amenities were great. This was our first time visiting Tame Turkey (Lakemont, Ga.). The dirt roads were a bit of a surprise, but we made it to the house and the venue we were attending was only 10 to15 minutes away. Those roads were even more "adventurous". If the opportunity ever arises again, we will look into staying there again if available. Thank you for allowing us to bring our 5 dogs. It was a bit stressful for the dogs, but they would rather be with us. The kids loved it too. The 17-year-old decided to stay with her grandmother as it happened to be the grandmother's birthday. TMI, I know. Thanks again!

Great place for a group
5/5 We stayed here with two families. It was the perfect setup with one family in the main house, the other in the carriage house, and the kids in the twin bedroom.
We rented a boat and enjoyed beautiful Lake Rabun, and also cooked great meals at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and we all had such a great time.
Check-in was easy, the place was exactly as described (but better in person), and the welcome wine was a nice touch.
We really enjoyed our time at Tame Turkey Camp and plan to return!
