  Absolutely perfect. Our family stayed here for our Son's graduation from Basic Training at Fort Moore. It's a 40-50 min. commute to Columbus, Ga. where the base is. The property and house is beautifully situated on peaceful and quiet pastures adjacent to undeveloped forest with wonderful views. We were treated, and felt like family by the property owner. Our Son just wanted to lay low and recuperate from his training, and this was absolutely the perfect spot. The fully appointed kitchen allowed us to cook, prepare and serve all the food our kids wanted. We felt at home from the minute we walked through the door. This location is country living at its finest. Word of caution getting there, you can only enter from County Route 90. Google maps will try to take you on unfinished, dead end roads.

  There is about a 1 1/2 road to get to the road the house is on. Then a 1/2 mile complete dirt road with with low stops in it before the house. So. If you have a low bottom car I would not stay here. Plus this house is about 45 minutes to and 1 hour away from anything to do.

  Property was beautiful and very clean. Very well stocked and the owner was exceptional!! So friendly with that southern charm. When we come back to the area, we are definitely staying here again. Thank you Janie for everything. It was awesome.Cindy and Ron

• Juneteenth Girls Trip

  My girlfriends and I stayed at the Junction City Home for a long weekend to celebrate Juneteenth. The home was private with a very relaxing feel. The house was very clean with a southern family living decor. The home was stocked with all the kitchen utensils, and bathroom accessories needed. We had a wonderful time far away from everything; and could laugh as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch in the nice big rocking chairs enjoying our evening cocktails. To add to our experience, we had the property owner's dog come and greet us with a friendly welcome when we first arrived. He was such a friendly and adorable pet. What a great time we had, and we will be returning for another relaxing trip real soon.

  We were looking for a home in the country not far from Fort Benning and we found a gem! About 45 minutes away it is a jewel! The home had beautiful furnishings and even a washer and dryer for our use. We used the firepit every night and enjoyed the front porch and rockers everyday and evening! The host was also exceptional!
