this little cabin was perfect for my husband and I to spend some time with my daughter, her husband and their two little ones. They had stayed there earlier this year for a weekend, and loved it.
There is just enough privacy with the 2 bedroom being on opposite sides of the house, and each having their own bathrooms. The views are spectacular, especially the sunsets.
The hot weather brewed up quite a storm one day, but weather happens.
The kitchen is so well equipped that we didn't even need some of the things to took along. There are, for example, several bottles of olive oil. I also left some of that, and some vinegar for you salad-dressing makers.
The beds are comfy, the washer and dryer are excellent. We spent a lot of time on both long porches, even when it rained. And also enjoyed the fire pit on the back porch after it cooled off some later in the week.
John checked on us to be sure we were okay during and after the storm! He is very hands-on and helpful.
People have mentioned the steep driveway, and yes, it is. You are on the side of a mountain... you get used to it.
This cabin was beautiful and had a gorgeous view. It was very obvious that the homeowner had made every effort to make their guests comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds and linens were of very nice quality and the bathrooms were stocked with various soaps, shampoo, conditioner etc. The driveway was a challenge but gave us a few great laughs. The community and adjacent towns were beautiful. I wish we could have stayed an entire week but we were only there for 3 nights.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful
mountain side cabin. The views were
just magical and we instantly fell in
love with the rich environment and
wildlife.
The cabin met all of our needs with great attention to detail and by providing top notch amenities. The owner was very amiable and answered any questions that we had.
When we did go out to explore, we were able to enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing and some golf, with so much more we plan to do on our next visit.
We also ventured into town and had a great meal and did some grocery shopping. We do recommend picking up your groceries on the way up to ur cabin for convenience sake as the cabin does have a fully equipped kitchen and storage.
Overall, we genuinely had a very memorable and fabulous stay! I wouldn’t pass this one up(as much as I hate to share lol)!!
Great except fireplace didn’t work properly and driveway needs some work for convenience’s sake

Hi Mark, this homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, but our apologies that the fireplace wasn't operating properly! It turned out that the flu was closed, probably due to high winds. We hope you have the opportunity to return soon, as we would love to host you again!"
We enjoyed the patio and the fireplace. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The hosts were very helpful and tentative.
