We enjoyed the barn style cabin! We traveled as a family of 9 with a baby, preschooler and family and great grandparents! Everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

Our family of 11 visited this property to flee from hurricane Milton. We enjoyed our stay and loved the unique features of the property. We had plenty of room and even had an extra bed. We look forward to visiting again. The property owner was very accommodating and communication was great. Do yourself a favor and book at this property.

For the most part, a nice place. Bring your bug, mosquito and spider spray. Expect bugs in the house as it's kinda like a treehouse as the doors aren't sealed very well and the windows stay open until October sometime. The creek is dried up. If you fear spiders don't book here! The kitchen has nothing but some outdated pots and pans and silverware and some salt and pepper and sugar. A nice few cast iron skillets. It has two refrigerators! That was a plus! 3rd floor bedrooms require a steep climb and low ceilings you have to bend down to get to. But, the beds were comfy and decent bedding. The leather furniture was in good condition. They have had dogs or pets there and dog hair is in the carpet so if you've allergic to dog or cats don't book here! We didn't see a vacuum either. Bring your own cleaning supplies as hardly any was provided. Bring your own towels and toiletries as the towels are older and only hand soap was provided. Not a bad spot! I don't think we would book here again based on there being no creek and we really desired that as one of the amenities as to why we booked! There's no central air conditioning, however outside of fall/winter I could imagine it being hot. If you require central air, don't book this! But, otherwise not bad! We still enjoyed ourselves!

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you still enjoyed your stay and appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
We did reach out the day after your check-in to ensure everything was going smoothly, and at that time, you let us know that things were good. We were also next door throughout your stay and would have happily addressed any concerns or brought anything you needed if we had known.
After your checkout, we immediately began addressing the issues you mentioned. We’ve already sealed some areas to reduce insect entry and have added more bug spray to concentrate on entrances. As noted in our listing, the property is in a wooded area, and with that comes occasional wildlife, which we try to manage proactively.
We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed about the creek. Unfortunately, the water levels were unusually low during your stay due to several weeks without rain, but we’ve since had heavy rain, and the creek is flowing again nicely.
Regarding cleaning supplies, we do keep some under the kitchen sink, but we will ensure future guests know where to find them. The attic windows are left open with screens during warmer months to release heat, and we appreciate your understanding that this is part of the cabin’s rusticity.
We value your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. Thank you for staying with us, and we are sorry the conditions were not what you were hoping for.

We came to the cabin for a men’s fellowship gathering, for 2 nights. The cabin was really rustic and nice. Everything that is on the listing is exactly what you get. We will most definitely be renting the cabin again.
