  My husband and I frequently visit this area and this property is by far the best rental we’ve stayed in. The cabin is beautiful and well appointed. The creek running through the property was an added bonus as our dog loves the water and the bubbling sound was so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the living area was cozy. We were glad the evenings were cool enough to enjoy the fireplace in the living area, as well as the fire pit. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need with the exception of plastic glasses or cups, which would have been nice since we were outdoors a good deal and hated using glassware outside. The only possible drawback, which was not a problem for us is that the location is very rural and located on a narrow gravel road. The road is well maintained , but definitely rough. You do not need a four wheel drive to access the property. You are a good 25 to 30 minutes from the closest communities. The WiFi is spotty but not too bad. We would definitely stay here again.

  Our family of four enjoyed our stay. Property was exactly as described. We were able to get to everywhere we wanted to go within 45 minutes...this is a great area if you want to be a little off the beaten path.

  Nice place for adults, but lacks any sort of play area outside at all for small kids. Poison ivy everywhere around cabin.

  Thanks for the review and glad yal enjoyed your stay! The woods and creek have always been plenty for kids/guest. Between all the hikes, waterfalls, overlooks, wildlife, etc there is never a shortage of things to do! And in the summer watching the birds/owls/fireflies are a great treat too! As for the poison ivy you mentioned.. this is 100% a Vacation Cabin in the woods backing up to 96,000 acres of national forest. If you go for a walk behind the cabin you will inevitably run across poison oak ivy at some point. HOWEVER, immediately around the cabin, firepit, and creek there is none to speak of. Treading off the beaten path will always be another story.
