  Amazing getaway for the wife and I! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hot tub overlooking the mountain in the night sky was a definite highlight. The place was tidy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Be mindful of the mountain road. We managed just fine in a front wheel drive SUV. Make contact with the property manager beforehand, GPS got us in the vicinity but our contact guided us the rest of the way without issue. Also, be mindful that you are in the middle of the woods on a mountain, we did hear a few scuttling footsteps here and there but we kept our food put up and it didn't really bother us. Overall, amazing stay and may be an annual getaway for us!

  Cabin was great. Hot tub was already on for us when we got there which was awesome. It’s a bit of a drive from the front gate up to the cabin itself on some steep gravel roads, maybe 15 mins, so be prepared for that. Would stay again.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountaintop Ellijay Cabin. The hot tub was our favorite part of the stay. Great communications with the owner.

  The ride up the mountain was terrible. There was pot holes all in the road and ruff. The direction up the mountain about 11/2 to 2 mile it told us to turn around. Try doing that with no where to turn around. Ww finally got turned around and ended back where we started only to start over again. We finally made it to the cabin. We got in fine. When we opened the door it snelled lime it haf been closed up a very long time. Then there was spider webs everywhere on the porch where the hot tub was spider webs on the tops, underneath, upstairs balcony was spiders webs and around and under the red recliner in the bedroom spider weds. The was a couple of scorpion seen around the towel area. The lighting was horrible. You couldn't sit at the table and ate because it was so dark. The TV service was a nightmare. There was no blow dryer and if there was my wife couldn't see in the mirrors bec they were so high. She had to put makeup on in the truck. The fridge was not clean. The couch smelled like dirty feet. Good things we had some spray all over boby spray deodorant or we wouldn't have anywhere much to sit on. Overall we were ready to go home but made the most of it because we had already spent the money.

  - We do not offer a blow dryer; we're sorry for the inconvenience.
  - The mirror in the bathroom may be too high for short people.
  - We have the information about the mountain terrain in the description. We recommend an SUV or 4-wheel drive vehicle. We also provide directions via email. We understand some GPS apps will turn you around; this is out of our control.
  - The cabin is closed up in between bookings, but we make sure it is clean and 100% guest-ready.
  - The cabin is located in the middle of the woods, and we have exterminated, but at the end of summer, we can see tiny scorpions from time to time.
  - We have TV service which includes WIFI, and we also provide Netflix, Peacock, and Paramount Plus.
  - Housekeeping usually does a good job cleaning the fridge. Sorry, they had issues.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  Cabin was very comfortable and the view was beautiful. The road to access the cabin definitely requires patience and 4 wheel drive. Only complaint was in directions. We were not told that gps will not get you to the address given. Directions need to be given in the email instructions.
