Amicalola Falls State Park is less than 20 minutes from the cabin, where you can hike through Georgia's mossy, verdant forests to admire the state's tallest waterfall and lush vegetation.
Try your hand at fly fishing with a visit to Carters Lake, Lake Blue Ridge, Lake Nottely, or the Coosawattee River. Take the family to one of many local apple orchards nearby to pick apples in the fall. If you're looking for something more fast paced, enjoy a kayaking or tubing tour down the Cartecay River - it's a treat for the whole family!
Head to Blue Ridge for a retro evening at the Swan Drive-In Theatre. They even have an old-school snack bar with burgers and treats for the kids!

Fabulous cabin
5/5 The cabin was well-stocked and offered more than the bare minimums like most cabins. It was clean with very comfortable beds, the fire pit has wooden porch swings around it which made for relaxing evenings. The cabin does not have a Keurig so bring your own if you love a certain K cup flavor, I would also advise extra blankets, some bedrooms are colder than others. We loved the wrap around porch, saw several deer and enjoyed how private the location was. The hot tub was unfortunately out of order but in spite of that one negative, I highly recommend this cabin!

Great Cabin Pet Friendly
5/5 Super Easy Check In. Loved we could bring our dogs! Lots of things to do with the family! ❤️the swing sets! Could have used a pizza pan though. But improvised. Check out instructions were clear. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us! Highly recommend!

5/5 I was staying at the cabin for my son's wedding weekend and found the home to be perfect for what I needed. I wish I had been able to spend more time in it but the wedding activities had me pretty busy. Thank you for opening and trusting your home to me. It made my weekend that much more enjoyable!
