• Nice Stay...For the Most Part

  Our family had a nice stay for the most part. There were some things that didn't sit well with us. Upon our arrival it was pretty rainy and we noticed that the walkway was covered in leaves and very slippery. The next day we realized that there was no upkeep in the entire yard and there was a weird smell in the yard near the front door. Not the best way to be welcomed.

  We also noticed that there was no "welcome book" as it said in the instructions via the reservation. We looked EVERYWHERE. We weren't sure what to do with the trash other than leave it in the garage in the bins. There was a whiteboard with information that was partially wiped off and a message from the previous guests which tells me that there wasn't much thought put into setting us up for a nice stay.

  The cleaning of the place felt half done. There was a weird smell in the bottom floor.

  The outdoor furniture area in the back was full of leaves and unkept. Very disappointing. I understand that it rained. However, the many leaves and branches were a clear indicator that that back area hadn't been taken care of for some time.

  Items we needed in order to clean (i.e. brooms, mops, plunger, etc) were not in areas we could find them easily. We had no idea where most items were kept. It would've been appreciated if most cleaning supplies were left in the upstairs utility closet.

  The rooms downstairs didn't have any lamps; just the ceiling light. Once you switch off the light, you're completely in the dark and fumbling around to get to the bed without hurting yourself.

  Overall our stay would've been better if we felt more invited and set up for success. I've rented from other places that have been so welcoming with information and even small gestures to make our stay more inviting. Thankfully we knew how to enjoy each other's company as a family despite the lack of care upon our arrival. We did our best to make sure everything was properly taken care of as we completed our reservation and left.

  And this is the same place that charged my credit card the full fee six days earlier than the date that was told to me when I scheduled the reservation. A lot of disappointments. I don't plan to use this service again or come back to this particular location.

  Good place to stay over a weekend. Close enough to stores to get what we need. Diego was helpful when we had a small issue. Overall great place!

  Our stay was ok. We did have an issue during our stay but it was rectified very quickly which we were grateful for. Otherwise just a couple of minor concerns with the home — stuffiness in the lower level, no curtains or blinds on some windows in common areas, couple of ants here and there.
