I give 5 stars to the Owner/Property Manager, Denice. We had a few issues with our trip, but once we messaged Denice, she was very quick to respond and tried to fix the issue at hand. She was very nice and easy to talk to! A few "let down" things we noticed when we arrived after doing our walk-through, was house keeping could've done a better job. We had a toilet that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and was growing some mold, we had several dead insects in the cabin (which I know can be inevitable, but we stepped on one and it was crunchy like it had been there for a while), we found hairs in the shower and in the floors.Even though the packet states "firewood available on first floor", we were expecting to have a nice fire in the fireplace, but no firewood was left and sticks and branches can only do so much. - So bring your own firewood or an axe if you would like a fire! We also noticed a very pungent mold smell downstairs. Like it has been wet and closed up for a while. So we never got to go downstairs to enjoy the pool table. If you have a truck, I would drive it. It's a steep hill and very bumpy! My car wouldn't have made the trip, it's a good things we drove my husbands truck. The cabin itself was nice and we had a great time just relaxing and doing a few things here and there.

I gave the property 3 stars for cleanliness only because when we got there the cabin had not been cleaned from the previous vacationers that were there. The beds sheets had not been changed, dirty towels, food still left in the fridge. I called the owner of the property and she got someone out to clean the cabin within the hour and said she would refund our first night stay. It was a little frightening driving up to the cabin on the long rocky , extremely bumpy road. Other than that this cabin is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, utensils etc.

Everything was great but it would have been nice to have easier access. Not use to traveling on one lane roads
