Great Christmas Getaway!
5/5 My husband and I arrived at the cabin Christmas afternoon and stayed for the week. There was a pretty Christmas tree in the living room, and decorations on the mantel--very warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the furniture comfortable. There's a good assortment of cooking utensils in the kitchen. We loved the gas fireplace! It's a small cabin, and very nicely laid out, a wonderful place for a relaxing, quiet, week away from the city. We had great communication with the cabin's host who readily took my call on Christmas afternoon when I had a question about the condition of the road, and the cabin's owner who contacted us to make sure all was well when we arrived. If we had found any serious problem, I'm sure it would have been easy to contact either one and gotten a fast response. The Road: The cabin is two miles off Highway 76. Only the last half mile is dirt. To Flatlanders like ourselves, there are a few possibly tricky steep grades along that short length of dirt road, especially in heavy wet weather. I would recommend a car with a higher clearance due to one rougher stretch of the dirt road. We drove up in a SUV and had no problem. Our low-slung Camry might have been unhappy. There's a long, steep, paved driveway from the road to the cabin that gave us a 'what the heck!' moment but wasn't a problem. We've stayed at a few rentals in North Georgia during Christmas and this is our favorite. Had a wonderful time, a very relaxing week!

Fantastic cabin!
5/5 We enjoyed the cabin so much. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Right in between blue ridge and ellijay. We could enjoy both cities without driving to far. The community the cabin is in is gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again!
