  My husband and I had a wonderful weekend away at this secluded cabin. The only sound was the rushing of the amazing creek in the backyard. My husband enjoyed fishing while I lounged in the sun. At night, we made a campfire with the available wood from the homeowners. There is also a short hike to a waterfall nearby down the gravel road. We enjoyed breakfast and shopping in nearby Blairsville on Saturday morning, then lunch and antique shopping on Sunday in Helen. Great weekend!!

  The Cross Creek Cabin delivered as promised. First let me state that in all fairness this review combines two stays at this cabin. The first, I did not review. Now with that out of the way. Upon our arrival the host set up a welcome tray of snacks and we very much appreciated this after our long travel. Once inside, the cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies. We stayed for an entire week and a day. It was nice that the host had enough supplies of toiletries, soap and even laundry detergent. It set our minds and wallets at ease. Too often, many rentals make you feel like you have to provide after shelling out alot of money and it becomes lack luster. The cabins location is wonderful and near Helton Creek Falls, there is some traffic but not much to ruin your stay. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR VEHICLE CAN CROSS THE CREEK. The hosts do alert you to this so before you book make sure your vehicle can cross. We rented a minivan and got lucky. Anyway, the quietness and comfort of the cabin are ideal for escaping city noise and city life. The upstairs is very quaint. It has a full sized bed, a bathroom with sink and shower, a cute sitting area to read and a screened in porch with a very nice hammock. You don't have to fight bugs to view the creek, you can sway in peace. Weather permitting. The main bedroom is downstairs with a queen bed and full bath next to the room. It is lovely. There is a useful regular laundry next to the kitchen area to wash some clothes if you stay as long as we did. We found it helpful. The biggest beauty is the single person bridge over the flowing creek it is soothing. The fire pit next to it provides nature's enticing elements of fire and water. It relaxed us and allowed us to just be. The cabin does have WiFi, smart TV for streaming. There is a covered area to grill/bbq if you like. The host provide guests many outdoor seasonal equipments for fun such as tubes, fishing polls and bait box, bikes to explore the area and more plus a bevy of indoor board games. The only glitch was the indoor electrical fire place. Host Jen and Mark gave instructions on how to get the pilot light to work and for the most part it did except for two days. They will be crafting more detailed instructions. This cabin has been everything as described and more. We will be revisiting Cross Cteek cabin in the future. The cabin and hosts were welcoming and delightful. If you truly want seclusion book Cross Creek Cabin.

  My fiancé and I stayed a long weekend at this cabin to escape before the holiday madness. It was truly a serene and beautiful place. This cabin has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was clean and the property owner took into consideration the needs of their guest. The back porch was my fiancés favorite spot. He would just sit and listen to the creek while I read by the fireplace. The owner Jen was awesome in answering all our questions before checking in. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this cabin to our friends.

• Short getaway

  Loved loved loved this cabin. It was perfect for the two of us. Drank coffee in the morning on the porch listening to the sounds of the creek. Quiet neighborhood right down fron Helton creek falls. Great location in between Helen and Blairsville. Cabin was very clean. Would definitely come back again. Thanks for a great getaway.

• Wonderful Cabin

  Great little place! The owners thought of everything - snacks, waters, spices, fishing gear ready to play with! Nicely decorated and very clean! Awesome fire pit and grilling area!
