Spacious Retreat ~ 1 Mile to Augusta National!

  Here are my concerns with our stay: We liked the following things:. there were plenty of beds to accommodate our guest . the hot water was great to accommodate the large number of guest However, we disliked the following:. we had to clean up the entire house before we could settle in. the refrigerator and stove were unclean, we had to cleanup both before we could cooked.. floors already had trash on it. the microwave does not heat well unless you leave food in for a long period of time. . One TV is not enough to accommodate all 5 rooms. Suggest maybe smaller TVs for the individual rooms.. Patio furniture was unclean, clean an cover for future stay. The house really need to be painted outsideOverall, this was an okay stay.

  - We have taken your comments about the cleaning issues seriously and have informed our cleaning crew to ensure this doesn't become a recurring problem.
  - The microwave was purchased brand new in the summer of 2022, and its size fits the available space above the stove.
  - While we plan to add more televisions in the bedrooms in the future, we want to ensure that our listing accurately reflects the amenities. Currently, our listing correctly states that there is only one TV to set clear expectations for our guests before they book their reservation.
  - The patio furniture is outside, and when there is no rain or pollen, it can accumulate dust. Although we have taken note of your feedback regarding covers for outdoor furniture, it hasn't been a concern our guests had previously.

• Great family reunion lodging

  This location was the perfect complement for our large family extended weekend event. Lots of folks came to Augusta and we needed extra sleeping locations without the formalness of going to a hotel. We had plenty of beds for 3 families with lots of kids, (everyone got their own bed!) the beds were VERY comfortable, the house was perfect for our needs each evening. Plus the owner was accessible and helped out with a few questions. Its location was close to the reunion event, and to nearby shopping for foods, etc. Will clearly be back the next time the our son says come on down to Augusta for a family party.

  Plenty of space (beds, seating, parking), convenient to all parts of Augusta, easy to get in/out of neighborhood, and proximal to grocery/restaurants. Owner is communicative and responds to outreach. If I am ever in Augusta or know of someone traveling to Augusta, it will be the first place I consider or recommend.

• Comfortable place for a large group!

  Traveled with a church group to a weekend-long youth rally. Last year, we had a bad experience with a local hotel and were looking for a comfortable alternative for six adults, eight teenagers, and a baby. Nobody went without a bed and we thoroughly enjoyed the living room and kitchen area for games and chats. If you're in the area and want a nice homey retreat, this is your place. It was close enough to restaurants and amenities while still being off the main road enough to have some quiet relaxation in the evenings. If my group doesn't grow too much, we'll try to rent again next year!!!

  Adam reached out to me a few days prior to check in to ensure that I didn't have any questions. During our stay I sent several texts. He always answered promptly. The house was an older house, but clean. The location was convenient for shopping. Check in was seamless. Thank you Adam.
