  I booked couples months ago other property with this management company so I thought that I would have a great experience unfortunately we didn’t, since I got there I could notice that the house wasn’t clean properly so disappointing to open the door and you can’t smell the clean house that you expect however we were already there with a busy schedule so we tried the best we could stay there for two days, I took couple pictures, bathroom downstairs wasn’t clean, kitchen only have probably a frying pan and two pots, I took a mug and it was broke, the reservation charged me 190$ for cleaning when I didn’t get a clean house, the house needs maintenance, smells musty

• Disappointing Stay -- Rental Needs Some Work

  Our stay at this rental was fine, but the house itself is not what it appears in the photos. While the house looks like this on first glance, once we were in the rental we found that it was beat up and not really pulled together enough to be a rental unit. It was as if someone moved out but didn't put any time or effort into fixing the place up to be satisfactory for renters. Walls were scuffed, banged or just roughly repaired, the rugs and kitchen chairs were dirty, there were gaps in the flooring in the kitchen, the back porch was dirty and had leaves all over it with one very uncomfortable metal bench to sit on, very low water pressure in the bathroom, no towel racks or bathmats, just generally in disrepair. As for prepping for renters, there were no toiletries or hair dryer as promised, the kitchen was very sparse with only a few items to prepare meals, the ice maker didn't work, and generally there were no extra touches that usually come in any sort of rental. Finally, I realize that the photos are accurate, but the space in the living room only has seating for 3-4 people, so difficult to all be together with a family of 6 renting. I think this rental really has potential -- it is large and roomy and in a nice neighborhood. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the park at the edge of the neighborhood where we took walks daily. And it was great to be so close to all of the up and coming restaurants in the West End. Just a little bit of effort could really make this a 5 star rating. But as it is now, I can't give it that rating.
