We unfortunately encountered many issues during our stay, with most of them not receiving a proper response from the owners.
For starters, the door handle on the front door is loose and near its breaking point. The thermostat did not work; luckily for us it is just Spring and not Summer, but the Thermostat would not cool, so the temperature was stuck between 75-79 for the entire stay. I messaged both numbers on file for the owners regarding the thermostat. I received a response that made me think the owner was thinking of a different house, as they mentioned there were two thermostats, when there was only one (if there was a second one, the owner did not help me find it when I mentioned it was not where he said it was).
I also messaged the owners because the floodlight on the back of the house kept turning on periodically late at night. Being in a neighborhood that we don't know, safety is our first priority, so if I see that light turn on I assume that it is motion sensored, and that something is moving out there. It very well could have just been an animal, but I asked the owners to let me know if the Ring camera was picking up on any motion detection, and I did not receive a single response to that. If your tenant/guest is mentioning that they don't feel safe, or that they are asking if there is a security threat, then a response would be the least that we would expect.
Other areas of disappointment:
- The bathtub looked like it wasn't cleaned, so we refrained from using it. Definitely needs to be re-caulked as well as the cracks in the tub lining look big enough for bugs to crawl through
- Speaking of bugs, I killed/displaced at least 8 roaches, with another 5 cockroaches being a little too quick for me to catch them before they would go under a crack in the wall or into the locked room. There is clearly a roach problem at this house that needs addressing
- The back door is broken/locked shut, we were not able to open it to go out back
Was very disappointed with our stay, and I would not recommend it to others. As a rental property owner, I understand that things will happen with the house, or it won't always be perfect for everyone. But the lack of communication, empathy, etc was probably the worst part. No apologies, or real attempts at helping, addressing our security concerns, or an offer for a refund.
Nice place, good location, clean. We had a few minor issues but they were addressed very promptly by the owner herself so very impressed by the service. I recommend staying here!

The house felt like home,they were very responsive & accommodating.. Everyone at evolve has great customer service.. Adrian is the best property manager ever!!!
