This very clean and well-appointed home was a pleasure for our family of three to enjoy for a week. We loved sitting out on the screened-in porch and watching the variety of birds that call this area home. The kitchen has any cooking implement you might need and we enjoyed many home-cooked meals. We wished the charcoal grill was a gas grill which would have allowed us to do more grilling however, we were very happy with the kitchen. Bathrooms were comfortable with each having two separate sinks and good shower (shampoo and condition included!). Air conditioning worked well though, mostly we kept it off as we opened the sliding door for fresh air. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at this peaceful, comfortable and well-situated river house.
Sitting on the deck with a cocktail, watching the river roll by. Alligators, manatees, birds, mullets jumping.Loved it

We enjoy so many things when we stay in your home. The beds are comfortable. We slept in the murphy bed & slept very well. The home is clean, spacious & well thought out for visitors. We saw alligators, 1 manatee & dolphins while eating on the screened porch. Great spot!!!

I can’t say enough about this diamond tucked on the river in Yankeetown. The home is gorgeous, spotless, well-equipped, and close enough to Crystal River, but far from the crowds. There’s not a lot to do if you are a social butterfly, but for us it was perfect. We read, rested, walked, biked, kayaked, and swam with the manatees. This house has everything you could possibly need for a great get away. The little town is lovely, the people are nice. We had a pizza the first night from Our Pub down the street. It’s a little locals dive where the pizza is hot and the beer is cold. We made reservations and ate at the Blackwater Restaurant that is literally two minutes away. It’s waterfront and upscale. I had the chef’s special which was snapper. We drove to Captain Mike’s Swimming with the Manatees in Crystal River and enjoyed a private manatee swim. Everything you need for a nice kayaking day on the river is right beneath the house. The screened in porch was perfect for reading and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again. Don’t sleep on this beautiful experience.
