  The home itself is absolutely beautiful and has great potential. Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon arrival was unacceptable — far below what you would expect for a rental of this quality. There were multiple issues throughout the house that needed immediate attention.To the owner’s credit, he was initially quick to respond and seemed willing to help, but as I detailed the extent of the problems, his tone became abrupt and unpleasant. This was especially difficult since we were in town for my son’s wedding, with family staying with us and nowhere else to go late at night. I ended up staying up until 3:30 a.m. cleaning the home myself just to make it livable for everyone.Having recently gone through cancer treatments, I was particularly concerned about the mold and overall lack of cleanliness because of my weakened immune system. I don’t believe the owner intended for the home to be in this condition, it seems more like the cleaning crew has not been honest or thorough. I have photos documenting these issues.The owner mentioned he would try to do something to make up for the condition of the home and the extra work I had to do, but other than sending a cleaner the next morning (after I had already cleaned the interior myself), there was no follow-through. This home could be a wonderful stay if the cleaning & management issues are properly addressed. Our experience was unfortunately stressful, but we made the best of it. We weren’t going to let anything ruin our weekend.

  House was clean, check in was easy and because no one was there in the days prior to our arrival we checked in early with no issues. That was awesome after a long flight. We had plenty of room, table fit everyone, front screened in porch was really nice on the morning it was raining. Kitchen didn’t have a lot of equipment, cutting boards, baking trays, but the basics were there. Pictures are definitely older, some furniture was no longer there, but still very clean and comfortable on the inside. The outside was not in the best shape, the furniture was weathered and warm. Dock had some rotted boards, table by the dock was rotted with only 1 rickety bench. Pool deck was not swept/leaf blown, I swept it off. Pool was full of leaves, found the skimmer and cleaned it out. By the end of our 4th day, pool was green, both propane tanks were empty, advised the owner and never heard back, we just got a replacement. Just a little TLC in the back yard would go a long way. Fishing off the dock and watching the gators and turtles was awesome! Caught a couple of nice large mouth bass right off the dock!Neighborhood was quiet as well, no stray cats as mentioned in another review. Neighbor’s dog came over for a bit, unleashed but was a very friendly dog. Overall a great stay and a great trip!

  We enjoyed our stay at this home. it was comfortable and clean. The kitchen needs a few items and the backyard could use some TLC.
