This place is AMAZING!!! The location, the house, the Marina owners and workers!!! I can’t say enough good things about it all. Fishing was great, we watched dolphins and manatees from the back porch dock and got to see fireworks from about 4 different spots. This place hands down was our favorite stop. We will be back.

This is a quant, cozy studio apartment that is connected to a boat dock. It is also in the middle of a marina on the Anclote River that feeds into the Gulf of Mexico. Choose it to spend our anniversary weekend and check out Tarpon Springs (5 minutes away).
High marks for the property manager who reached out the day before the visit and was available throughout the weekend. Had an issue with the remote on the gate to access property and Sophia jumped right on it and resolved the issue within minutes.
Two things to be aware of. The unit sits adjacent to the boat launch and everyone loading up to take the boat out walked right past the Studio apartment. For several hours in the morning and afternoon, it's a high traffic area. By no means a deal breaker and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the front deck to watch the activity. Every boat owner was friendly and respectful and the Marina staff was super, often asking if we needed anything and stopping between boats to chat.
Only nit about the unit is the shower was small and reminded me of a shower on a boat. Not much square footage so the tiny shower wasn't a shocker, just took some thinking on how to shift, turn and scrub. Again, not a deal breaker and adds to the coziness of the experience.
All in all, a fantastic anniversary weekend. Great food, relaxing and friendly atmosphere with a rather nice view. Highly recommend to those looking for something other than a hotel room vacation or just want to unplug a little.

We had a perfect week. This location does not get any better if you are looking for quiet, sunset evenings on the water. Literally on the water. Stepping out in to the dock every day and relaxing, fishing, and taking it all in was great for the soul. The description of the property was spot on so keep your expectations to what you read. It’s an efficiency that is perfectly appointed. Great window views (powered shades a bonus for sure). Everything to prepare a meal for two is available as along as you clean as you go the space is more than enough to work with. The bed was surprisingly comfortable with multiple types of pillows to choose from. We used the little alcove with the bunk beds as our dressers and changing room so no issues there. It was just a perfect space all around. The outdoor dock space offers high end seating that is comfortable and well maintained. The views are amazing with the sunsets and wildlife - dolphins and manatees at our feet on multiple occasions, multiple species of fish (snappers, ladyfish, reds, sea cats). The folks at the marina were pleasant and noninvasive. You don’t really even know you are on a marina property. The tarpon springs downtown was easy to travel to and has plenty of great food and shops. We ate at Capt Jacks, Lenny’s, Andy’s Hot Cakes, and the Rusty Bellies to name a few and not a bad meal to be had. So overall we highly recommend this place to a single or couple that love sitting and hanging on the water. To top the whole ease of the week our host Sophie was top notch with her kindness and availability at a moments notice. She answered all our texts (actually not many were sent) quickly and attentively and was gracious leading up to, through and at the end of our stay. Loved her! So anyone thinking of this place enjoy!!
Great stay at this boathouse! Easy communication about checkin and anything we needed. Really great private spot on the water (it IS in a Marina). We had everything we needed and had a wonderful stay. Would love to come back.
