Fantastic house - best we found in the area
5/5 This house is perfect for small groups - two full bathrooms, 3 medium size bedrooms and a large great room with a lot of seating. We were worried with the hurricane 2 months before we arrived that we might need to cancel, but the house was rebuilt completely inside - all new.

Nice isolated getaway
5/5 The house was as advertised. Great location on a freshwater canal leading to the Suwanee River. Only a couple of local places around to access the gulf or salt water fish, but some very nice places for fishing and crabbing within 30 minutes. A very slow paced community, not crowded at all, if you’re looking for a nice, quiet get away with beautiful sunset views this is a good location.

Sunny side up
4/5 We enjoyed our stay at the Sunny Side Up and found the house and location to be perfect. The only major downside was that there was in fact NO floating dock for you to tie your boat up to. Just the fixed deck which would normally have a floating portion attached to. If you take your boat, there is nothing to tie up to safely which could cause major issues if that is what you are expecting. There is literally no way up or down to your boat (even if you do attempt to tie it up depending on tide that is) the only way to get on the boat would be a dangerous drop or climb up on the side of the sea wall. My son is 10 and I didn’t want him doing it, it would be impossible with smaller children. All in all, we made it work and other than that issue we would consider this a perfect Suwannee rental house. The host was amazing and communicative.
