Wonderful VRBO
5/5 Very nice house. Pictures are accurate. Clean, very attractive inside and very easy to enjoy peace and quiet. We also had a daily visit of a Sandhill Crane. He/she would preen itself right outside of our window. House was well taken care of and the owner was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Door difficulties
5/5 The electronic door code didn’t work and because of our late arrival, it took an extended amount of time to access the house. The property management company eventually reached the owner who provided an access code. The next morning the owner was able to fix the glitch and the rest of our stay was perfect. Beautiful home!

Four night stay
4/5 I initially did not rate communication with property manager, but when it would allow me to skip, I rated it 5 because no communication other than email re checkin and out was required.

Wonderful port in a storm
5/5 A lovely, well-kept home on an absolutely gorgeous lakeside setting. We were there to sort the affairs of my wife’s mother, who died on the day we arrived from the Chicago area. The peacefulness and natural beauty of the area was a balm to us after long days of difficult work. Our only issue occurred when we contacted the property manager to request extending our stay. He said he was unable and that we had to book through the website (which denied the extension because of a 2-night minimum policy). Fortunately, an Evolve representative, Leah, was able to solve the problem so we didn’t have to move to a motel for our final night in the area. Regardless, my wife, disabled son and I absolutely loved the place — it really was the perfect port in a storm, even though the weather was beautiful every day!

Sunny lakeside retreat
4/5 It was mostly good. Upon arrival I had to contact the host for more toilet paper (half roll left in one bathroom). Quickly solved. Host very responsive.
Location is lovely, home is clean, comfortable and well provisioned (with the one exception above). Beds are REALLY comfortable! HVAC system kept us warm during the recent cold snap.
We would reserve this property again when visiting family in the area.
