  Our stay was wonderful. The house was quiet and charming. Plenty of room to spread out but cozy enough to enough game night at the table. The back yard is a peaceful oasis that is enjoyable.

  The house itself was nice; however, the surrounding area was not suitable for a vacation stay. During our visit, we experienced repeated disturbances from neighborhood children, including an incident where they knocked on our door, asked for money, and, after being refused, threw diapers at the property. We also observed them harassing another family nearby.Additionally, there was a rooster in a neighboring yard that was extremely loud in the early mornings. A train also passed through the area multiple times throughout the night, repeatedly sounding its horn. This was particularly disruptive, especially since the train did not use its horn during daytime hours. This information would have been helpful to know prior to booking.On our second night, rain amplified noise from a nearby metal/tin roof, creating a loud drumming sound that lasted from approximately 3:00 a.m. until our departure.Inside the home, there was a significant ant problem in the kitchen. Although the rainfall during our stay was moderate, we also experienced a power outage. The water pressure in both showers was very poor.When we reported the issue with the neighboring children, Evolve was responsive and supportive initially and stated they would contact the owner and follow up with us; however, we never received a response. I am uncomfortable staying at a property where the owner is unreachable in the event of a safety concern.While I did not feel unsafe overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

  "We’re sorry for the disturbance you experienced during your stay. We were staying at the property ourselves before your arrival and experienced no issues, nor have we ever had a prior guest report disturbance. Most of our guests enjoy the neighborhood. Yes, you will hear a rooster, rain on the tin roof, and the nearby train passing. We personally find those sounds peaceful, but they’re not for everyone.
  
  We have regular pest control treatments, and also pay extra for a special on-demand service so that any guests can call out pest control if an issue occurs. The details on how to do this are all in our guest book. We pay for this service because it’s Florida, and bugs do sneak in from time to time no matter what. However, being there a day before you arrived, we are surprised to hear you had a problem.
  
  We find the water pressure to be good. There is a dial on the shower to adjust, and it may have been on a low setting during your stay.
  
  We’re glad we were able to respond promptly and support you within five minutes of your message. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve for future guests."

  Our family was gathering for Thanksgiving, and rented this space for the seating and kitchen.
