Location was perfect. The house was lacking in cleanliness and the kitchen did not have the basics, like a can opener. The bathrooms needed serious updating. All the drains in the house were extremely slow draining

Hi Barbara, thanks for providing your feedback. The owner wanted to share the following: We are sorry you did not have a 5-star experience during your stay. We addressed your concerns immediately and resolved them within 30 minutes. We do all we can to ensure our guests have the best possible stay!
Pros-Great location. Steps from beach, close to historic St Augustine Comfortable beds Cons-(we)2 senior citizens, a young couple and 10 month old baby rented for 4 days, 3 nights. -it’s Hot! Bring fan(s). Each bedroom has a AC unit however, the main living area has a tiny unit that can not keep up with the heat. We were promised fans from the beginning but never did receive. -Dining room and living room furniture is in bad shape. Several dining room chairs have visible repairs, one we removed because I was concerned it might collapse. -Floor Tiles in kitchen and dining room have numerous cracks, covered mostly with throw rugs. OK for adults but potential safety issue for little ones.-no hot water-no Wi-Fi due to wrong info given. Huge issue when having multiple baby monitors/devices. Was rebooted late on second day.-grill does not work. -We had company our last evening another young couple with baby. No party! While we were eating dinner on the patio a gust of wind hit the umbrella and shattered the glass top table. Two people received minor cuts. I notified management via text right away. Management came to door at 8:30pm telling us to Vacate immediately. They never asked if everyone was okay, just accused us of “destroying their property “.. They called the police trying to reinforce us to leave, instead the Officers looked all inside and out and suggested we take pictures to CYA. - Let’s just say our relaxing vacation turned into a stressful stay. There was more, but we’re not trying to be petty. It appears we were first to rent and it showed. This place has great potential, however I do hope that they make some improvements to make it a pleasant and comfortable stay for others moving forward.

The little cottage was in a great location, easy access right out to the beach. During a thunderstorm the electricity went out a few times and we had to go around another unit to reset the breaker. Outside shower to rinse off all the sand was great! This is an old cottage, don’t expect any frills but it was a perfect stay for two teenagers and three adults with the pull out sofa sleeper!
