  Property was close to beach (10 mins) and we also rode our bikes on the Legacy Trail. Visited Dog Beach in Venice, Florida.

  Living in paradise! My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The home was very clean, well laid-out, with everything you may need from bicycles to pool toys to an ice cream scoop. Don the owner was always available for anything we needed, which wasn’t much! The neighbourhood was very quiet; we enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning in the backyard. What a beautiful property. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Don!

• Frustrating

  I normally do not participate in the reviews. However, this was an extremely frustrating two weeks. The neighborhood was far less than favorable. One neighbor was a complete nuisance. Several days, and nights he was in the street shouting expletives, trying to provoke a fight with his neighbors. He had at east 4 junks vehicles in his front yard an carport. The automobiles on the street were so loud you felt you were in NASCAR garage. The advetised bicycles were unusable, the TV set-up was a shamble. I could go on, but suffice it to say that we will not use this address again.

  - Regarding the disruptive neighbor, we regret that you had to experience their behavior. They struggle with mental illness, which occasionally manifests in outbursts. It's a rare occurrence, but unfortunately, it can happen.
  - Regarding noise from vehicles, while we cannot control the activities of other residents, we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for our guests, but we're sorry if this had a negative impact on your stay.
  - As for the bicycles, they are indeed functional, although occasional flat tires can occur due to infrequent use. We provide a bike pump for such instances, and previous guests have utilized them without any problems, and wish you had brought this to our attention during your stay. We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help.
  - Regarding the TV setup, I recall our discussions and promptly assisted with resolving the issues to ensure your comfort during your stay, even assisting you with installing the portable antenna you had brought with you. Additionally, I replaced the firestick with a new one to enhance your viewing experience.
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  We had a terrific time at Don's place. The home has everything you may need from pool toys, to bicycles, to an ice cream scoop(!!). His tidy home is located on a quiet street and only a short drive to the beach. Don was attentive to all emails and was easy to contact. We will definitely be back. Thanks Don! You live in paradise!
