  Property was clean, and as noted you had to walk through one bedroom to get to another (and one of the bathrooms) but this wasn’t an issue for us. All the rooms were comfortable size, clean. The home is very minimalist (no decor, extra blankets, pillows, board games, seasoning, etc). We had a rainy day and the sleek living room tile was very slippery upon coming in from outside. Back yard was overgrown and fire area had no propane to use (it rained for us so we couldn’t regardless, but FYI). Neighborhood was quiet and easy to access with grocery/restaurant options nearby to get basic cooking and cleaning supplies (basic seasonings, cooking oil, laundry soap and something to wipe counters after use-only small amount of dish soap was available) and showering essentials. Overall, the home is older with basic remodel and clean; is as described with no extras but fairly priced. We had difficulty with the keypad our first day (maybe from our own rain wet fingers? host was easily available and helpful by phone).

  We checked in very late at night. There was no outside light at front door, making it difficult to get in. The home appears clean for the most part, however, I did find a long hair on one of our bedroom pillows, which grossed me out. There were only partial rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms. We had to go buy some the following morning. Soap dispenser in back bathroom was completely empty. Sliding door in rear bedroom was unlocked. There is one picture on one bedroom wall, otherwise, no real decor at all, making it feel not very “homey”. Communication with Evolve was horrible. I messaged them twice before our stay and never got a response. I then called them and was told they couldn’t answer my question and I would need to speak to the home owner directly. Representative said he was messaging me the owners name and phone number as soon as we hung up. I never received the information. Upon returning to the house after our first day out, we could not unlock the front door. I called owner twice and also texted. It was over an hour until we received a call back. We had been given the wrong code to get into the house. ( this explains why the door seemed to unlock too easily our first night there. I honestly believe the door was already unlocked when we arrived). The outlet in bathroom on left side did not work. Many Windows were so dirty that you couldn’t really open the curtains because you didn’t want to see the filth.
