This was a nice enough place but extremely cluttered witth knick knacks that it was difficult to use. For instance there were two tables setup for what looked like a dinner party. It looked cute but meant we had no place to put our supplies. Additionally there was no obvious place to put those dishes, so eating there would bee quite confusing. However the one thing that drove us crazy there was that the hot water was intermittent during our stay. Id start a shower at the right temperature and a minute or two later it was freezing and so id have to keep restarting it. We were only there for a few nights over thanksgiving so i didnt contact them because i doubt anything would be fixed in time. Overall it was a nice house in quincy with some wonderful local art which was inexplicably mixed with home goods cast offs for no good reason. If they fixed the water heater, added spare blankets and made more room for guests things it would be great.

    Manager's Response:

"From the owner: Thank you for your feedback. I always want guests to be comfortable, and if anything like hot water or temperature impacts a stay, I encourage guests to reach out right away so I can help troubleshoot and resolve it as quickly as possible. For clarity, dishes were set out on the tables for guest use, and I’m sorry for any confusion around that. My goal is for every guest to feel welcomed, cared for, and truly special during their stay."

The rental was cute, cozy and peaceful. The enclosed porch & rocking chairs were honestly my favorite. I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway

This sweet little cottage felt much roomier than it looked from the out side. We were a party of three adults, but there was definitely room for more. Hygiene supplies were very plentiful with several new sets of shampoo, soaps, and actually pretty much anything one might need. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything to make a full meal for a dinner party as well as bottled water, soda, and a large selection of coffee and teas. The home had a French theme and both the dining table and breakfast table were decoratively set in a most delightful way. The porch was fully equipped to have a gathering for iced tea on a warm spring afternoon. The grounds were charming with a small antique barn and herb garden on the property, and though it is right off hwy 90, we heard very little traffic at all. The hosts were very responsive and check in was seamless.
