Booked through VRBO (who I have been happy with for several years) then billed and managed by "EVOLVE" Why? Disappointing!!
Property is very worn and NOT kept up.Example: Broken front blinds held up by zip ties! Stove top disgusting!
Extremely small TV has poor reception...signal goes out every few minutes and WiFi connection spotty. Outside grounds need clean up! How can I be assured this won't happen if booking through VRBO in the future?

The heater/ac didn't work. The contact brought over 2 space heaters. The front blinds were missing the cord. The bed was soft. We liked the location close to the Bay park.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at our cottage, Beth. We value your input, and we are committed to addressing your concerns to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
-Regarding the heat and air conditioning unit, we can confirm that it has been recently cleaned and serviced to ensure proper functionality. We apologize if there were any temperature-related discomforts during your stay, and we were pleased to provide space heaters to enhance your comfort.
-The front blinds are designed to be cordless for ease of operation. To operate them, you can simply pull them down or lift them up, and they will retract on their own. We hope this provides clarity on their functionality.
-We regret that the mattress did not meet your preferences. Mattress comfort can be subjective, and while we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we understand that individual preferences may vary. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
We genuinely value your feedback, and your experience is important to us. We have worked diligently to provide a clean and comfortable place for our guests, and we will continue to make efforts to enhance the overall stay.
The tiny home is cute, but needs simple repairs inside and out. Yard work had not been kept up. Dying plants and over grown weeds in the gravel backyard.
Inside was clean, for the most part, but fans where gross!
Took an entire day to cool the house off with the window unit ac.
Location is good! Down the road from a dog friendly park. Had a nice run there. Stores very close.
Oh, bring towels! Only provided 2 towels! No ice trays, but there is a bucket!
This small house was a good choice for two and the price was great compared to other options in the Punta Gorda area. The location, however, is a bit questionable. The neighborhood appears to be a fairly low income section of Port Charlotte with some nearby properties in very poor condition. It felt a bit unsafe at first glance but we did not experience any issues during our stay. The interior of the house was reasonably clean except for a moldy shower curtain, dirty kitchen dishes/utensils and some moldy-smelling bathroom towels. Although there is an ironing board, there is no iron and the bathroom sink was partially clogged. The ceiling fan in the dining area was broken - it was running at full speed when we arrived and there was no way to turn it off. No WiFi information is provided in the house but the owner responded quickly to my request for login credentials. The owner left a list of things to do at check-out which includes taking out the garbage. Unfortunately, the trash cans in the backyard were overflowing; the smell made it clear the trash hadn't been discarded in quite some time. I would not return here, but can recommend this for someone looking for inexpensive lodging. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

The house is clean and small and is as pictured and described. We did not cook while there, so don't know exactly what is provided for cooking.
