• Okay stay in Pompano Beach

  There is no private beach. I notified both Evolve and the local management that they should advise the owner to update the listing to reflect this and waited to allow them time to do this before reviewing, but they have not. This changed back around January of 2024, so they have had plenty of time and reviews to change it. The public access is fine, and I don't understand why they don't just remove the private label. It is false advertising.That said, the place was ok, but the second floor bedrooms are hot. I did not think this would be an issue in November, but it certainly was, and I live in Miami so I am used to hot. They advised we could not turn the thermostat lower than 70, and we did not, but it was much warmer than 70 upstairs, even with the separate thermostats. I am used to sleeping at 74 degrees, so there is something off with the air conditioning and they should address this. I would not recommend this house, although the location is great.

• Robbins Rd in Pompano Beach disappointment

  Among the many disappointing things with this rental- sliding doors that were almost impossible to open and close, malfunctioning toilets (2 out of 4), and hot water heater that was set on scalding, poorly appointed kitchen items, lack of a surface to keep a suitcase on or a chair to sit on in the bed rooms, - we were the most upset about the “private beach access”. We had to walk about 15 mins to get to the public beach. This house must have a short future - appears the owners are renting it until they get the right price for the lot for it to become a tear down. Everything inside is worn out.

  - Our home is as advertised and we put a lot of hard work into making sure it's 100% guest-ready. We're sorry that you felt this way, the inside and outside of the home are all in very good condition and the photos show what you will see when you arrive at our home.
  - Regarding your complaints about the sliding doors, they are working fine and we have not had any issues with anyone using them.
  - We went over the same day you contacted us and checked all of the toilets in the house and they are all functioning perfectly. Your complaint that they took too long to fill made no sense and although you were not happy we found that they are all ok.
  - We were not aware that a previous guest changed the setting on the water heater and it was higher than we normally have it set. We did change the setting and asked if this was ok and you told our management company that you were satisfied with the adjustment.
  - We apologize if you thought the access to the beach was too far but it's only 2 blocks walking distance and most people are happy that we are so close.
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we are known for.

• Beautiful, Spacious Home Needs Minor Improvements

  I set all 3 air conditioners to 70 degrees; however, the units are not sufficient to support the large house. Several rooms were very warm and fans made it worse. The shower curtains in one of the upstairs bathroom are torn and has mold at the bottom. The house needs repainting in certain rooms. Patio furniture has mildew and needs replacing. Living room sofa is worn. Bring towels, not enough (there were 10 people). Sliding glass doors are hard to open. Its a beautiful house, just needs attention to the items listed above. Val and Matias were extremely helpful. I received the incorrect house code and Val immediately text the info. We stayed 2 days and overall is was okay.
