  Over all, this was a nice place to stay. I would honestly say that if you’re over 40 you might want to seriously look at the loft. It does state that there are 7 steps up to the loft. That is not false advertising. Those seven steps are vertical, not at any angle, so if you need to get up to use the bathroom in the night that is something to consider. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, but when we said something about it, it was fixed same day. It was a peaceful stay and they really did a nice job with the space they have.

  I requested Evolve to update my listing description to " Sleeping loft may be suitable for some elderly". I was turned down. Sorry for the inconvenience of there only being one bathroom on the main floor. I personally checked your A/C remote setting and found it was changed to fan mode. Glad I was able to set on A/C mode again get it cooled down immediately

• Pretty space, but sofa bed is not a double.

  The pullout sofa was advertised as a double, but it was a twin. I booked with full intention to avoid the high loft & use the sofa bed because my husband is a disabled vet who could not do the ladder, but we could not fit together on the sofa bed.

  We left after our first of 3 planned nights & checked in to a hotel instead. Beautiful space, but feel it was not appropriately advertised.

• Visiting with Marine at the base

  Joan was accommodating and super sweet and down to earth. The loft was comfortable, I’m old so it was harder to climb the ladder lol. But it was nice and even able to get my daughter in a wheelchair in. Will stay again!

• Great little bungalow

  Needed some time off. Found this place and rented for the "Blues Weekend". Irv was fantastic and the bungalow was spectacular. Great location for downtown(5 min drive) and beach(15 min drive). This is a "tiny house". So, space is at a min. But, everything is well thought out and clean. If you want a quite getaway in a nice neighborhood, I recommend this place!!!
