  We’ve stayed at Ramsgate before and this unit was much nicer than the other unit. Nicely decorated and plenty of kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable with high thread count sheets. Cotton comforters making for better sleep. We did have a little trouble the the digital entry key pad. Although we were able make it work each time. It was somewhat of a challenge

• Christmas on the beach

  We booked 8-night stay for the Christmas. Easy to find and revived all the information online before our trip. Easy to find, easy to park and check in the place. Great location, pictures online matches the actual place. Will definitely come and highly recommend!

• Needs some TLC

  Came down for Spring Break with the family for the 4th time at Ramsgate. The facilities for all to use at Ramsgate are great. Pool and grill area are clean and were great when we had a grill night with our large group of friends who also were staying at Ramsgate.

  After staying in 3 other units at Ramsgate, this unit was not the best we have been in. Cleanliness was lacking in general. There were spots in the kitchen that were just plain dirty. Several condiment containers were left in the fridge which I thought was gross. Obviously we didn't use them.

  We don't use the TV much but it's nice to have on either rainy days or in the evening after the sun goes down. The TV's were on the older side. The master bedroom TV had so many remotes we didn't know what was what and never were able to get it to turn on. In addition, the remote backs were off with not enough batteries for all remotes.

  The showers had curtain liners that were plastic (personally not a fan of) and moldy/dirty. The storage in the master vanity was lacking. No drawers, only cabinets under the sink so we basically just kept all our items out on counter. Faux drawer fronts were falling off.

  The guest bedroom bunk bed was pretty sketchy as far as stability goes. My son did not feel comfortable climbing up and down, so he opted to sleep on the couch.

  We had issues with our a/c not cooling upon arrival, and after some back and forth with the Evolve team, they sent someone the next day to take a look at it. In the end, the A/C unit needed to be replaced, which happened on our 3rd day.

  Some nice touches were the beach towels, beach chairs, and some charging cables for electronics.

  -"We are glad that you liked the community facilities! Our Board works hard to make Ramsgate a fun place to visit.
  -I am sorry that the kitchen wasn't as clean as you were hoping. We wished you would have reached out during your stay so we could address your concerns promptly. We'll be sure to talk to our cleaning team and have them take greater care in the kitchen area.
  -We intentionally leave condiments in the refrigerator, as well as coffee and tea in the pantry, for our guests' convenience. You may use them or not, but many guests like to have them.
  -There are step-by-step instructions in the Welcome Book on how to use the TV remotes. The entire complex is getting an upgrade of our cable/internet service, so we plan to upgrade the Tvs accordingly. We hope you enjoyed the Chromecast in the living room.
  -The shower curtain liners are new so we were surprised that you found them in that condition. Additionally, the master bath has plenty of storage in the cabinets under the sinks and we have plans to add more drawers if possible in our next remodel. My brother visited the property and confirmed that the faux drawers were securely attached.
  -I will ask our cleaning crew to make sure that all of the bolts are tightened on the bunk. It is safety rated for 300 lbs. The couch is a sleeper sofa, so there are plenty of sleeping options.
  -Regarding the A/C, you were our first guest this year who needed A/C, so we were not aware that it was no longer working until your stay. We found a technician to come out on a Sunday, the same day it was reported and we had it replaced the very next day. I'm not sure how this could have been further expedited but hope that the new A/C worked well for you.
