  • Excellent location/resort but condo not clean

    The resort is great, lots of pools, hot tubs, tiki bar and Starbucks. The condo was small and not super clean…I had to strip master bed and wash sheets as they had clearly not been cleaned (full of hair). When I reported it, I was told that it was lint from dryer (it was human hair all over). The bathrooms were also not super clean, master shower had not been cleaned. The floors were kinda gross. The gym is NOT open to renters. Cable was not working in master bed, maintenance showed up two days after it was reported and my kids were not comfortable letting them in because we weren’t home. We got zero notice that they were coming so we could arrange for one of the adults to be home. Overall, would love to stay again but the lack of cleanliness was a huge turnoff.

    Firstly, we want to clarify that our condo is one of the largest units at the Majestic, spanning 1200 sq ft and accommodating up to 8 guests. This can be viewed in our listing photos. We regret if this information was not conveyed accurately in our listing.

    Regarding the issue with the bed sheets, our housekeeping team confirmed that what appeared to be hair on the sheets was actually lint from black towels washed with them by the previous guest. Nevertheless, we understand your concern and are committed to ensuring thorough inspection and laundering processes moving forward. We apologize for any discomfort this may have caused and offered to provide fresh sheets to rectify the situation.

    Cleanliness is paramount to us, and we take any lapses seriously. We encourage guests to reach out to management upon check-in if anything appears amiss so that we can address concerns promptly and ensure a comfortable stay.

    The cable issue was indeed a resort-wide problem stemming from malfunctioning cable boxes. Comcast technicians were diligently working to address these issues on a floor-by-floor basis, but due to the volume of units requiring service, it was challenging to provide advance notice of their arrival. We regret any disruption this may have caused to your experience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve the issue.

    The view of the beach was lovely and all the amenities of the hotel was great. It’s not in walking distance of a lot of things, but it is on the quieter side which was nice.
