  We absolutely loved our stay! The owner was everything you could ask for: attentive, always replying to our texts immediately after we sent them, and addressing any needs we had. The home was very clean, and stocked with exactly what we needed to make our stay comfortable and carefree. we would definitely choose this home again in the future.

• Cleanliness?

  We were allowed to check-in early but were welcomed to a dirty house. First, we could not utilize the garage because it was full of personal items like large piles of dirty clothes, broken furniture, cardboard boxes, and trash.

  Then we walked into the house, the stench of BODY ODOR was overwhelming, especially in the master bedroom. After taking the master bed sheets off, we found large brown and yellow stains on the mattress.

  Also, nothing in the kitchen was wiped down. The countertops and stovetop had crumbs and stains. The refrigerator had strains of curly black hair and stains on the inside and outside. The coffee machine sitting on the counter had MOLD in the filter. We were so disgusted with the cleanliness that we did not attempt to cook a meal in the kitchen.

  The living room had a large couch full of rips and stains, we had to put a towel down to even sit on it.

  The backyard fences were broken down which left large gaps, so we were left unsecured and had no privacy from neighbors.

  For us to feel somewhat comfortable, we wiped down all the surfaces, bought new linens, washed all the towels, sprayed disinfectant everywhere, bought air fresheners, and bought scented candles for each room.

  We felt like someone was living there full time and did not bother to clean before we arrived.

  Overall, it was NOT a pleasant experience and we’re disappointed in the lack of care.

  - We aim for full transparency and our listing details and photos are accurately advertised. The listing photos clearly show a damaged fence, which, while requiring attention, still ensures privacy and doesn't compromise security due to functioning locks on all doors. In our quiet neighborhood, many homes lack fences without impacting security.
  - Regarding the garage, the guest book clearly states it's off-limits, designated for disposal or donation purposes.
  - No one lives in the home full-time. We obtain proof of payment to cleaners. Evolve can confirm the house was rented to dozens of guests In the months of November 2022 - July 2023, September 2023, November 2023, and December 2023. In fact, a guest departed on 12/27/23, a day before your arrival. The current guests at the residence, who have expressed enjoying their stay to the owner, have booked 1/3/24-1/16/24. This addresses the claims of full time residency.
  - The damages to the mattress and furniture were unfortunate, from rule violations by previous guests who brought dogs and extra guests. We're pleased to share that in 2023, we had numerous bookings with open communication, and there were no complaints about odors or cleanliness. This positive trend also aligns with reviews from the same period in 2022.
  - Understanding the inconvenience caused by cleanliness concerns, you were refunded for the cleaning fee and half of your first night. The refund request, along with pictures, was submitted 48 hours after check-in. If the situation was deemed unsanitary, a direct or earlier refund request from you to the owner would have been appreciated.
  - We acknowledge the neglected coffee pot in the supply closet, and we truly apologize for its condition. Steps will be taken to prevent similar oversights in the future.
  Guests can feel confident in our service as our goal is to create the best home experience and host many satisfied guests at this property.

  This place was absolutely beautiful. It made for an exquisite stay. The owner was in contact via text message and phone calls. The entire week was perfect.

• Relaxing Getaway

  We loved the house, very beautiful! The owner was great and easy to talk too. Our suggestions would be to add trash cans in both bathrooms and a bath matt in the master bath. It could also use rugs at the doors to wipe your feet on. Overall 5 star and stay again! The Slagle Family
