  The house was beautiful! The check in was super easier and Warren was great an easy to communicate with! Traveled with our kids and they enjoyed the pool more than the beach.

  House and pool backyard was great. Excellent location for access to restaurants,grocery shopping, and micro breweries in main Oakland Park downtown area...within easy walking distance. Beach 1.5 miles away right at end of Oakland Park Blvd with public parking for a fee(get there early). Fort - Lauderdale by Sea close-by along with Fort Lauderdale beaches. Great siting under palm trees at the beach on Fort Lauderdale beach. Pickle ball and tennis courts 200 yards away from house. Management hosts Val and Warren were always reachable and responsive if anything was needed.Many great restaurants near by : Italian,Steakhouses,Sushi,etc. Publixs 1 mile from house. Great walking neighborhood.

  We planned this vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and we were so excited to find this amazing home. The very first thing we noticed was that one of the two air conditioners weren’t working. It was fixed the next morning, although the master never did get as cool as the rest of the house. The reason we chose this house was because it looked like a beautiful oasis in the backyard. What we saw on the covered patio was 4 rusted, dirty metal chairs. The couch was stained and filthy. The pool would have been nice if it wasn’t raining, so sitting outside was not pleasant. I hadn’t noticed in the pictures that there wasn’t a railing going into the pool, therefore my sister who is vision impaired could not get in. The door handle to go out to the patio was falling off and there was a little note saying open gently.

  The master bath drain came off while someone was showering and it looked disgusting and couldn’t be used. The hall bathroom sounded like a screeching owl when the water was on and so did the kitchen sink. We ended up all using the same shower.

  When it was time to leave, we were asked to take the linens off the beds only to find a pair of men’s underwear in the sheets.

  We were under the assumption, since we paid a cleaning fee, that the house would actually be clean. It was not!!!

  The listing advertised that the house was newly renovated, and clearly it was not. We’ve stayed at many short term rentals and have never experienced anything like this. We then noticed that the listing of the property was removed from the site.

  Jill, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following:
  "We were thrilled to have you as our guest and wanted to make your visit special, especially knowing it was for a birthday celebration with family. While the Keuring machine wasn't listed, we happily provided it for your convenience.
  -Regarding the pool, we apologize if the lack of a railing caused inconvenience for your sister. We have accommodated children and seniors without issues in the past. Ultimately, it is up to the guest to thoroughly review the listing before booking.
  -Our cleaning service maintains the property meticulously, including the bedding. We've addressed the laundry issue with them to ensure greater diligence in the future.
  -The vintage mid-century chairs are well-maintained and offer both comfort and charm. Similarly, the outdoor couch cover is regularly washed, though weather conditions can impact outdoor furniture. We would never allow a "filthy" cover because of how important cleanliness is to us.
  -The sound from the running water from the faucet and shower is an average volume. The primary ( master ) shower is 100% functional. We have always had terrific feedback on it. We regret that you could not use the shower due to a loose drain cover and would have immediately fixed it if we had known.
  -Regarding the AC, we promptly fixed it within 12 hours of being informed. We encourage guests to adjust the thermostat themselves to their preferred temperature for comfort.
  -The door handle issue was easily resolved, and the "open and close gently" notice is to ensure its proper functioning.
  -We regret that you didn't communicate your concerns during your stay. Our property manager is always available to address any issues promptly. We take pride in hosting guests and have received many positive reviews and we know we will continue to host great stays."

  Stayed here last year and rebooked. Wonderful large backyard, house has all amenities listed and is in a very quiet residential location. Sunny backyard. Property managers are friendly and flexible . Walking distance to downtown OP. Highly recommend!

  Absolutely the most perfect home. We cooked as a family, entertained family and a few guest seamlessly. The perfect set up and accommodations to relax and build relationships.
