  We stayed in a very beautiful home. The home was very roomy and tastefully decorated with gray tones throughout all rooms. However, it was not cleaned thoroughly and there were ants throughout the rooms. The ants were extremely bad in the bathroom of the master suite.

  A call was placed to Barbara (our contact person) about the uncleaned house and the ants. She promised to send someone out the next day to take care of the conditions.

  However, they never showed up. Therefore, it left us to do it.

  She promised numerous times during our stay to send someone, but that never occurred.

  Actually, she sent a text on the day we were scheduled to depart stating that someone would come and take care of the cleaning, etc.

  It was a very friendly neighborhood and we met several neighbors. We talked to the owner by phone letting her know how much we enjoyed being in her home, enabling us to have a nice two weeks to relax, day trips to see the area, visit museums and a day visit to Sanibel Island.

  - We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns and the ant activity you experienced, particularly in the primary bathroom. The home is on a regular preventative pest-control schedule, but Florida’s climate can occasionally lead to sudden activity.
  - You should not have had to handle this yourselves, and we regret that the promised follow-up did not take place. We’ve since reviewed our cleaning, pest-control, and communication processes to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and confirmed during a guest’s stay.
  - We’re grateful you shared your experience, as feedback like this helps us uphold the clean, comfortable standards we strive to provide every guest.

  Clean, quiet and a relaxing place to stay. I definitely recommend this home and would stay again.
