5/5 We stayed 3 nights during Thanksgiving break with 3 kids 10 and under. We hosted a small Thanksgiving with family from Pensacola. We had warm weather and then cold weather. The kids fished, swam, kayaked, and had a fire in the fire pit. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.

5/5 Super quiet until night before Labor Day but to be expected. Direct access to the river for kayaks which are provided. Plenty of local shopping for groceries or coffee. Was close to the state park and other water sport areas. We walked daily and never had any issues. Cabin could use mattress upgrades especially in second bedroom.

5/5 We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 kids, ages 11,8, and 3. We had a fabulous time and spent our mornings at the ocean and our afternoons kayaking and paddle boarding the river. We especially enjoyed kayaking to the sandbar the owners mentioned in the information book. The kids loved playing there. We also enjoyed fishing off the dock and being so close to the river. We wanted to see just one alligator and we got our wish one afternoon. It was exciting for my kids! We hope to come back next year!
