Long Weekend Stay
4/5 Not my most comfortable experience. I didn't like booking through VRBO with a realty agency (or whatever they were), not very personable, canned emails, etc.The listing stated a 2 stall garage, you couldn't even fit one car through the garage door, maybe a golf cart. The internet information provided in the check in email wasn't correct. I text the contact number left on the board for Georgia, no response. I text the other number left, also no response. I call the number for Georgia, she answered, I asked if it was her and it was. Told her my issue and she abruptly passed me on to another girl who did help me. I had to buy batteries for 2 of the remotes, a new light bulb for the light under the microwave. I asked if there was a tv provider or just the apps I have myself. Was told just the apps I have myself. Tried to add an app and it needed the ROKU pin. They didn't know it. The owner called me, who was very nice, but he also didn't know it and tried to find out what it was but was unable to.I prefer doors with the keypad so I don't have to worry about keys and losing them. Also a garage with a remote so I can drive in and shut the door behind me as I travel alot by myself. So having no garage and having to use keys to get in was a little unnerving by myself but everything worked out. The house was fine for what I needed. Some extra batteries and a couple screwdrivers would have been helpful. I prefer dealing with the owners of their properties. They care more.
