• Inexpensive vs. Expensive!

  The. Location was Excellent! Everything you need all in the same area. Very close to parks. So location I give a 10 out of 10!

  The home it self was great space for a family of 5 or more..

  Once we entered the protest their was a deflated balloon floating on the stairs, there was also dirt/dust on the entry floor. I just over looked these two things because it wasn't such a big deal.

  The furniture was dated, once I turned on the light in kitchen there was a roach in the sink,which was an instant turn off. My family and I live pretty comfortable and my kids never seen a roach so my girls were scared. It was also one in the bathroom downstairs. I was going to immediately report it the next day. But I did not see any more that day or during our stay. So the cleanliness I rate an 1.

  Will I stay at this property again? Absolutely Not!!

  I will definitely pay more to fit my lifestyle and to find a place that feels like home for me and my family.

  - We have active pest control in place, but despite our best efforts, pests can be a common issue in Florida. Our professional pest control treatments create barriers, but occasionally, pests can still find their way inside.
  - Our furniture is regularly maintained, and while some pieces might appear dated, we prioritize the cleanliness and comfort of our guests.
  - We apologize for the deflated balloon on the stairs. It might have been missed due to the high ceiling in that area, but we strive to ensure a thorough cleaning after each guest.

• Nice vacation home

  Overall, our stay was nice. It was very roomy, and having the convenience of a full kitchen to cook for the family was nice. However, the lower heating element in the oven did not work and we were unable to bake anything. The replace filter light was on for the filtered water on the fridge, and the ice dispenser was covered in black mold. The hot tub was a nice feature, only wish it wasn’t filthy from the people who stayed before us. I had to drain, clean and then refill the tub before I felt comfortable getting in it. The beds were comfortable and clean, and even though the floors didn’t look dirty they made our feet black. I had to mop them myself after check in. The home served it purpose though.

• Filthy Roach Infested Nightmare, Vacation Ruined

  Arrived 10:30P, Lock code didn't work. Heat was on 88F. Linens hung on everything to dry, wet laundry in washer & dryer. PM promised refund of cleaning fee in writing. We finished laundry, made beds. Kitchen was sticky & greasy. We mopped the floor and wiped counters & fridge, rag came up black. Oven was filthy & broken & our meal was ruined. This home was listed with private pool. There was no private pool. Only a broken hot tub. We couldn't find another house at the last minute, so we tried to make the best of things. No key fob to community pool/clubhouse. Sent PM list of issues & pics. He told us said "there is little he could do to find it from there." We searched, he sent cleaner to look, it was nowhere to be found and one was never provided. German cockroaches and ants were everywhere, foosball table was broken, there were no board games, dvd player broken, no access to comm pool or clubhouse. AC auto set to 44F randomly freezing us out. They never issued our refund or addressed the other concerns. We tried to no avail to settle this with PM who claimed owner was nonresponsive. VRBO has called several times on our behalf. We've been using VRBO for over 10 yrs this is by far the worst, most disgusting, infested, misrepresented home we've experienced.

  Chris, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  Owner's response: "Chris, we wish that you had provided our cleaner to get into the house to verify your claims so that we had a chance to rectify the issues, but you would not allow their return. We pride ourselves on getting each guest taken care of so that their stay will be a good one.
  
  - Pest control is an ongoing issue and we are sure to stay on top of it. We have regular scheduled appointments, but we will follow up with them.
  - We make sure that the house is 100% clean and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We did have 2 sheets that were left out because they were not dry and we intended to get that taken care of but our cleaner's helper was ill and we didn't double back. We did get your photo but you only provided one of the sheets and nothing else, we offered to take care of the cleaning fee for the inconvenience. You were refunded that amount. We find it unfair that you were requesting even more and wrote a review that is not 100% accurate.
  - The pool FOB is always in a little bag in the kitchen drawer and the cleaner verified it was there when they left. We couldn't find it and have replaced it for all future guests.
  - We never told you that the owner was not responsive, that is just bad business to badmouth someone that you work for. The owner is cooperative and always available when needed.
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."
