We come to Homosassa and have stayed at many homes nearby. This one was unique because it had a lovely concrete area for our kids to ride scooters and draw with chalk when we weren’t on the water. The home has two docks and very easy access to the water. The home is located down a more narrow part of the river so the neighboring homes were very visible and there were several times we were outside and could easily hear the conversations from the house right across from us. Not a huge issue, but it was less privacy.
In general, the home is spacious, has plenty of beds and bathrooms and a lovely kitchen. We loved the balconies and there were tons of kayaks to use. The fire pit is right next to the water which was nice. I would bring a few additional paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods and dish pods because they don’t provide quite enough for a full weeks stay but we did have a large group (4adults 5 young kids) so we didn’t mind.
Great stay - we would stay again!

A wonderful and relaxing stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we'd need (minus the food 😉 ). Kayaks were easy to launch right from the dock. Beautiful river! Super-close to the state park. Would absolutely stay here again!

You could literally swim to the spring from this house it’s so close. My Nauticstar 243dc with windshield cleared the bridge at both low tide and high tide just fine with the Bimini top down. Nice size dock. Home was great. Very clean, meticulously kept. Amazing amenities. Demolished my son in ping pong. Wanted to get to play poker but didn’t have enough time between kayaking and scalloping and grilling. Brand new grill that was clean. And cozy fire pit. Kitchen was stocked with spices and even coffee! Well appointed with coasters throughout. TV’s and sound bars galore. Layout was great with top floor almost like a separate unit with own half kitchen. If you have to stay with people you don’t get along with.
