• Great Place on the Lake!

  We enjoyed our time on Cue Lake! The home is beautiful and spacious! Both porches are wonderful places to sit in the mornings with a cup of coffee and enjoy the lovely view of the lake. Our son fished off the dock and used his kayak also. We brought our jet ski, and we enjoyed tubing on the lake. We brought a pop-up shade shelter, and we set it up down by the water. This made our days enjoyable as we spent several hours down by the water. We rode into nearby Keystone Heights and enjoyed eating at Woodland Burgers and Wings...great burgers!!! It was an enjoyable vacation, and we will definitely return! We are only about an hour and a half away...so it would make a great destination for a weekend get-away!

• Restful Week!

  So much to do without ever leaving the house. We brought a popup tent and set it up down near the water and just hung out in the shade all week. We fished and swam. We brought a couple of kayaks and used the paddle boards that were on site. It's about a mile round trip if you paddle directly across the lake and about 1.5 miles if you paddle around the perimeter. We did both and so long as the wind isn't blowing terribly against you, it's not a bad paddle. Very quiet lake, I think we had two days with some jet-skis on the water and maybe we saw 2 fishing boats out all week. House is huge. Way bigger than the pictures or description let on. The 6 of us had no trouble finding our own little space when we needed it. We certainly never felt cramped. Huge kitchen if you want to eat in, plenty in the area if you want to eat out. We'll be back.

• Most restful vacation of my adult life

  House is HUGE! Seriously, the photos don't do it justice. Large kitchen, open to a large dining area and living room. 3 bedrooms plus the bonus room. We had to hunt for kids some mornings to figure out where they finally crashed. Ample parking areas for your vehicles and gear. The lake is amazing. It's about a half of a mile straight across, a mile and a half if you paddle the perimeter. We did both on kayaks and paddle boards. Bring a pop up tent, you'll want the shade down by the water. Plenty close enough to enjoy stuff in Gainesville, Palatka, or even Saint Augustine.

• Lakeside Retreat Close to UF

  If you’re seeking a lakeside retreat close to the University of Florida, look no further than this home on Cue Lake. It is impressively spacious, featuring three nicely appointed bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a bonus room with a futon and lofted twin bed—our group of six had plenty of room. It also had a fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig and drip coffee maker, a cozy living room with a smart TV, a gas grill, and a screened-in deck and patio. Enjoy direct access to Cue Lake. You can swim, paddleboard, kayak, or fish. Paddleboards and a kayak are included in the price. The host’s responsiveness and attention to detail made our stay comfortable and worry-free. The home was well-maintained and very clean. About 40 minutes from UF, it’s an ideal spot for football weekends, graduation, or simply a quiet getaway. We had a nice stay and would absolutely return!
